Welcome back to the classic Warriors, in a territory long forgotten. The dusty forests of ThunderClan, breezy moors of WindClan, dark swamps of ShadowClan and quiet streams of RiverClan are still here, and so are the familiar clans within them. Outside the forest territory lies the world of Rogues, a ragged band of cats who stick together simply because they don't belong anywhere else. Join in on a life of betrayal, friendships and adventures not so different from the one you know.

So of course, first on the list is advertising. I swear, I'll stop bugging everyone about this once we get 30 members or have at least 20 active in the past 24 hours. Anyways, MotM is up, we need votes! I understand that new members can't really vote, and that's fine, but old members? Please. Chapter 1 of the plot will hopefully get started over the weekend, so check back on the plot thread about that, especially because positions needed for Chapter 2 will be released. Ryuu had the brilliant idea to add the recent events in the IC world. Things like kits being born, cats dying, switching clans, or cats moving up ranks. Basically the things that would be announced at a Gathering, but the gathering thread only lasts for a few days, and it's nice to be able to see the information 24/7. Not to mention, leaders can't keep track of every single thing that happens in the forest. So if something event-worthy happens to your cat, PM a staff member about it and we'll add it to the list of things on the header. [Ryuu, I'm not sure if this is exactly what you meant, but you can PM me about that too if you want me to change something about it.] I'm also adding the three other OTM's. I'll gather nominations for cats and threads from the leaders today, as well as start the Quote of the Moon nominations threads [Members nominate the quote.]
Sorry that this was so long, thanks for sticking with me ;P

Settling down on her haunches, Ivywhisker turned all her attention toward Sparklingpaw, her tail wrapped comfortably around her paws. Keeping her gaze locked on the small cat, the first time mentor watched happily as her apprentice fell into the crouching position almost as if she had practiced a million times before. Right after she finished, Ivywhisker stood and nodded her approval, "that was great Sparklingpaw! Hunting's going to be a breeze for you, trust me." Still grinning, the warrior rose to her paws and looked encouragingly at the tabby. "Now this is the last part, pouncing!" She purred, than swiftly and instinctively began crouching, night sky eyes focused on a crumpled leaf. Taking a few steps forward, she tensed and prepared to spring. Kicking off the ground with all her might, Ivywhisker sailed quickly across the forest floor paw stretched out. In only a matter of moments the graceful Siamese landed on her target scattering leaf litter around her. Satisfied, she glanced back at Sparklingpaw, "once you've got it, bite down on its neck, its the easiest and fastest way to kill your prey," she meowed, "and that's all there is to it! Now you try."

The she-cat sat up, her eyes shining brightly. At her mentor's comment, Sparklingpaw began bouncing up and down. 'Yay, yay, yay!!!' she thought, quite amazed actually. 'Yay, yay, yay!!!' First time and her mentor said she was doing great already! Sparklingpaw watched as her mentor exampled the second part of hunting. The apprentice grinned and once Ivywhisker was done, she moved into her hunter's crouch again. For a second she wondered if she was supposed to try it on a leaf or an actual peice of prey. But she shook indecision from her mind, pricked her ears and opened her mouth to taste the air. Millions on scents wafted in, though Sparklingpaw only cared for the mouse scent that reached her. She listened carefully, then turned to her right. Sure enough, just through a patch of bushes was a mouse. Almost shaking with excitement, Sparklingpaw began sneaking towards the small creature. She was a foxlength away when things went wrong. In all her focus on the mouse, the apprentice forget to check where she placed her feet. Her tabby paw landed on a twig and it snapped. The mouse looked up and spotted the she-cat. Sparklingpaw hissed and took of clumsily because of the rush. She managed to land near the mouse, though her paws missed by a few centimetres. That gave the mouse time to get away, but Sparklingpaw was too fast. She dove after it and landed on it this time. She bit it's neck quickly, though not before it let out a shirll sqeak. In all the hurry, the apprentice landed clumsily and now she summersaulted through the air landing at the base of a tree. "Oww." she muttered, the mouse still in her jaws.

Ears pricking in surprise at her apprentices position, Ivywhisker quickly bounded over to the spot where the small tabby was sprawled between the roots of a large tree. "Sparklingpaw," she exclaimed, "are you alright?" Eyes glimmering with concern the warrior looked over the apprentice, relaxing when she noticed no serious injury. She had seen the mistake she had made, half because she was to focused and in all her excitement the stocking had gone wrong. Yet even though the mouse's squeal had probably scared away most of the prey in the area, Ivywhisker was more concerned about Sparklingpaws well being.

Sparklingpaw began to grin at her mentor sheepishly, when she realized she still held the mouse. The she-cat dropped it and turned back to her mentor, nodding. "Yeah. Sorry. I clumsy," she explained, with an uncertain smile. She wasn't she how Ivywhisker would react. 'Oh well!' she though and hopped up. Sparklingpaw gazed around, her eyes shining again. The tree hadn't hurt that much. Still, she brought her paw up to her head and rubbed it for a second. 'I should watch where I'm going more,' she thought. her blue eyes swiveled over to her mentor who was looking at her with concern. "I'm fine," she insisted with a nod and a smile. "What now?" Her ears perked up as she asked the question and she looked around again quickly.

"I'm fine, what now?" Letting out a shallow sigh of relief, Ivywhisker nodded and smiled back down at the apprentice. "That's good," she meowed, pushing away the idea of what would have happened if she would have had to take Sparklingpaw to the medicine cats den on the first day. Ears pricking back up she cleared her throat and looked around, "We'll, I think we should try a little farther down the stream..." the warrior replied, and than indicating the mouse added, "just don't forget to bury that." Than turning swiftly on her graceful brown paws, the she-cat began to walk slowly toward the running water, certain that Sparklingpaw would catch up.
