Altitude was just getting over a small sickness that was passing over the camp. It was his first day out of the shelter and safety of camp, and to him that felt good.
He dug his claws in the ground, reminding himself of how sharp and strong they are.Next he crossed a small river that led to the Cliff/rocky area. He looked up and breathed in deeply. It was a familiar scent.
Altitude didnt hesitate once. He jumped up onto the wall and began to look for small pockets and holes he could grab onto so he could climb up to the top. His muscles straining and his heart pounding he got a good 4 feet off the ground before he took a small rest clinging to the wall like a wild cat.
Then he started his climb again hoping for some company or for someone to be a the top.

Spottedleaf Had actually been sitting at the top of the giant granite rock. The rock itself was cool but the sun had been warming her fur as she rested at the top. She was flopped over on one side, with her legs sprawled out across the stone. Every few seconds her ears gave a small twitch as if hearing something annoying.What a great day so far, it hasn't been this nice in a long time. I should probably be out hunting but i haven't been able to relax in such a long time.What was that? She looked up lazily and scented the air, she had heard sharp scrapping sounds, like claws on the rocks. Sitting and up looking over the edge, she gave a large purr.Well hello there. Her meow was soft and filled with sleepness. Once she said her hello, spottedleaf again flopped on her side. Her thoughts phrased away as she waited for her visitor to make his way up .

Altitudesickness dug his claws into the rocks and held onto the rock for a small break when he heard a faint she-cats voice come from above. He looked up and saw two big beautiful eyes looking down right at him. He couldn't help a smile and felt the skin under his fur get warm. "H-hello!" He shouted up at her the best he could he was hang on for his life and a nice looking she-cat was right above him. He continued to dig and scrape his claws on the rocks. His muscles bunched up beneath her him as he pulled him self up, and up and up. Soon he reached the top thinking that he should have just used the forest path to get here because of the she-cat and all. But he had no idea that she was there. With a bight face he reached up and pulled himself up over the ledge with a few huffs of breath he licked down a few furs that where sticking up and walked over to the she-cat in a friendly manner. Alti gave a warm smile and said,"Hello miss," trying to be a charm. He wasn't the best at pick up females because of his spirited/ child like attitude, but he guessed he could give it a whirl.

The bright face and warm, friendly smile made spottedpool's fur tingle. The smile on her face grew warmer and more friendly if even that. He's quite a handsome tom, She thought. her tail flicking the rock as her throat gave a small purr like sound. Once he finally made it to the top, she introduced herself. "Hi" she made a small murmur "i'm spottedleaf, and you are?" She tried to make it sound like a question, but it came out more like a coy tease.Oh! i wonder if he could that! she yelled at herself silently in her mind.She looked up at the tom realising her gaze had dropped to the ground without her knowing so she gave a small grin and knew he knew she was having a thught issue.

Altitudesickness smiled as she looked down at the ground,"Im Altitudesickness.. Umm you can call me, Altitude or Alti for short." He smiled shortly his name was embarrassing but it was pretty cool all the same.
He felt a nervous rush flood through his veins. "Your name sounds much better than mine.." He said in a soft meow. To shake off the nervousness he looked around to slow his thudding heart beat.
"What are you up to?" He asked semi-cool like, hoping he could maybe get to know spottedleaf a little more.

Her ears turned in his direction. She caught the slight attenpt ar being cool and smiled warmly. "Well i was just up here getting the warmth of the day.The sun hasn't been out much lately and well.. You get the point. But i dont know why you think your name is worse. I like it alot. Much more interesting and different then anything i could have thought of. Well yeah." with that tiny bit she sat up and licked away the ruffles that gathered along the bottom of her pelt. Gentley she flicked his shoulder with her tail. "Ever tried rock hunting?" She asked a bit anxiously. Like she had hoped he hadn't so she could get a chance at teaching once more, it set her heart at ease when she taught. Like giving our mind candy or something in her mind. Cats needed to learn and she loved doing it.

Altitude felt his face get warm,"You really like it!?" He said with a mix of happiness and confusion no one has ever thought of his name as interesting. He felt his face and body turn warm. It was a relief but slightly embarrassing or was it reassuring?
He felt her tail hit his shoulder it made every nerve in his body shiver. -She is so beautiful I think i love this she-cat.-
"Rock hunting?" He had heard of it but never actually attempted it.. Or had he but never really noticed himself doing it. " Umm.. No I dont really think so.. could you show me? " He asked his eyes flicking straight to Spottedpools. -Her eyes are beautiful in the sunlight-

Spottedpool's face curled into a smile and also she stood up and looked across the flat surface. "well for one. You need a crack in the rock and a shadey spot." SHe meowed softly, as she looked up at Altitude Just intime to catch his eyes look at her. A tingle of excitement ran through her spine and down her tail as her chest fur fluffed up a bit. SHe just stared at him for a moment without saying anything. Then with a flick of her tail, she stood her head and gave her chest fur a bit of a lick to smooth it. Turning away from his eyes she looked at the rock abit embarrest from her staring and her own actions. Moving on with her leason she finally after a while of looking, of course, she found a crack hidden in the shade of a great pine tree. Joyful and ready to teach, she slowly slide onto her belly and crawled over to the rock and stood there. Not saying a word but wanting him to watch and copy her every move. Once at the crack, she waited her tail flat on the rock waiting and waiting. After several minutes a nose stuck up from the crack scenting with a flick of her paw she reached down ito the crack and the vole flew into the air. Spottedpool, with her powerful hindlegs, leaped into the air after it and caught it in her jaws, crushing its body in her mouth and land safely infornt of altitude, with a grin of pride on her face.Swiftly the smile faded away to a soft look as she bowed her head and tahnked starclan quietly for the mouse she has just caught.

Altitude watched the she cat as she gently licked the fur down on her chest the softness in her eyes. Then saw he sneak out to a rocky area and wait. She was such a beautiful cat even just sitting waiting for prey to come. Then a few scrabbling noises Spottedpool was on her hind legs with her font paws locked around a grey mouse. Alititude's eyes widened with excitement and passion. He deffinently wanted to try that. "Thats Amazing! Your really good at that! I have got to try that!" He got to his paws excited to try the new hunting technice.
He looked around quick to find a crack in the rocks like she had done. His head spining around frantically. Finally his eyes spotted a small crack in the shade of the same tree. He crawled low to the ground and stopped a few inches away from the crack. He jumped then sat down just as Spotted did. He looked over at the she-cat with a large grin, then looked back at the crack waiting... Waiting.... *Scrabble Scrabble* Altitude looked at the crack happily. And BAM! The little mouse flew up into the air. With a laugh Alti stretched up and locked his paws around the quite slippery mouse. He let one of his claws kill the mouse then came back down the mouse on the ground. "That was SO Cool!!" He picked up the mouse and trotted over to Spottedpool his eyes sparkling with excitement.

A smile of pride crossed spottedpool's face once again as yet another prey was caught from the cracks in the rocks. "That was beautiful!" she purred and padded over to him, rubbing up against him, purring the entire time and before she realised what she was doing it was too late and her skin began to finally feel warm to her. Slowly she backed up and looked him in the face. Her eyes sparkled with embarrestment of her actions. It was the first time she had ever made a move without thinging. "Sorry.." she murmured softly, not wanting him to feel awkward about it. She hoped that he felt the way she did but she didnt even know how she felt at all. Was she in love? or was she being motherly? she didnt know. All she knew was that she was leading him down a long and winding road that never failed.

Altitudesickness smiled he loved Spottedpool's gentle yet strong voice. She came up to him purring and gently rubbing his side. A shiver slithered down his spine. He closed his eyes and purred back then opened them when she stopped. "Its, fine really. I dont mind," he said looking straight into her beautiful eyes.

There is goes again, her skin got even hotter then before and she even curled her tail around her side and underher side. She looked at him with now softer eyes then before and purred softly. Spottedpool could think straight and now she felt a bit of passion running through her vains." Well i think we should get back to camp." she offered softly as her tail now swayed back and forward behind her and her head bowed a bit looking up at alti.Who would of thought, it only takes one day just as they say. she thought and lifted her head to meet altitudesickness's gaze and smiled. With a huff of bravery she spilled her guts in three tiny words."I like you!" She yowled and jumped off the rock running away from the river but not towards camp either. And her tail disspaered itno the thick undergrowth.

Altitude smiled he felt his fur burning like a million flames burst out on his pelt. She bounded off so fast he couldnt even yell out I like you back! He felt so embarrassed but loved all the same.
He picked up the two mice and walked no floated back to camp, hoping to see spottedpool in camp.
