Startled, Ivywhisker turned around wide eyed at the frantic yowling. At the sight of the black furred body barreling toward her, the she-cats fur bristled in alarm. Even though she was considered fast for a Thunderclan cat, she was not fast enough to avoid Cursedsoul. Instantly the warrior let out a "Ooaf!" The impact of his launch sending her tumbling back wards. Wincing as her head bumped against the ground none to lightly, Ivywhisker's finely slid to a halt, jaws parted as she fought to catch her breath. Shocked, she jerked herself up, sputtering and coughing on dust before looking around for Cursedsoul. Worried orbs falling on his form, she pulled herself up the rest of the way in one quick motion, paws bringing her to him like lightning. "Oh...I'm sorry!" She gasped, tail lashing with pure concern,"I-I should have been paying attention." Quick to blame herself for the whole incident, she added, "are you alright?" As if the collision hadn't affected her at all, which wasn't completely true, her side was rather sore.

Listening calmly as the tom apologized, Ivywhisker was about to object when he continued to express how sorry he was. Sure he had bruised her a bit, but otherwise she was perfectly fine. Frowning when she realized he thought she was angry with him, the she-cat shook her head. "I'm fine-" she meowed quickly, cutting herself off in surprise as he took a step forward suggesting she get him back. Immediately her eyes took the shape of moons, "Cursedsoul, why would I want to do that? It was an accident!" She whispered shyly. For a moment she stood still, when suddenly the Siamese took a few steps toward him, almost appearing as if she had changed her mind. Yet instead, the pretty warrior lowered her head so she could reach his and rasped her tongue across a patch of earth on his forehead. Only when she was satisfied that the smudge was gone did she back away. Than as if realizing what she had just done, her skin began to feel hot with embarrassment and she glanced away. "Sorry...you had a...something on her head..." she mewed quitely.

Smiling lightly, she glanced upward only to find that she was staring directly into his gaze. Instantly she felt her breath catch in her chest, yet she was unable to look away. "Your eyes are like the midnight moon, beautiful..." Shocked at his reply, Ivywhisker broke there steady stare to look down at her paws, ears growing warmer by the second. "Thank you," she mewed, the compliment playing over and over again in her head. Than suddenly, as if realizing how silly she was being, Ivywhisker took a deep breath and stood again. "Do you want to...you know...hunt?" She meowed quickly, eager to move to a different subject.

Immediately Ivywhiskers facial features took on a certain warmth that would have appeared a rosy red had she been able to blush. "He's...nice," she admitted shyly to herself before padding after Cursedsoul. It was strange to be this friendly with a cat after Branchwing's death and Tidebreaks leaving, yet it felt good at the same time. Quickly catching up with the black tom cat, Ivywhiskers eyes narrowed in thought. "How about we try at...the Owl Tree?" She suggested, tail tip flickering in the direction of the tall oak.

Dipping her head in a quick nod, Ivywhisker whisked around and began the walk to Owl Tree. Unlike before, there was a new spring to her step, her long feline legs rushing her across the forest floor in long steps. Now the golden dappled sunlight seemed warmer than before on her silky pelt, and she couldn't shake off the feeling. "I hope I'm right and there's something worth catching there," came her thoughts, a slight nervous feeling building in her stomach. What if she did something stupid in front of Cursedsoul? Suddenly realizing that she was being to empty minded to hunt, the warrior stopped in her tracks, raising her chin slowly to taste the air. Owl Tree was still a good while away, but it didn't hurt to check. Soon the fresh scent of mouse hit her, warm and mouth watering. Ears pitching forward, Ivywhisker held her tail high in signal. "I'll be right back," she whispered quickly, before dropping down and stalking into the brambles.
Keeping on the trail, it didn't take long before she spotted the rodent, its back turned to her as it gathered food for the coming leaf-bare. Fixing her blue orbs on her target, Ivywhisker slid into a hunter crouch, paws moving her forward swift as wind. When she felt she was close enough, the she-cat held her breath and launched herself forward. Before it even got the chance to turn around, Ivywhisker had hooked the mouse in her claws. Flinging it up in the air, it landed stunned on the ground before her, dieing instantly as she gave it a quick bit to the neck.
Sighing happily, the warrior reached down and grasped the newly found fresh-kill by the tail before padding back to the black tom cat. She returned a moment later, the tiny body warm and mouth in her jaws as she looked up at Cursedsoul.

Purring in response to Cursedsouls compliment, she turned and let the fresh-kill flop down upon the leaves. Planning to return for it later as usual, the she-cat quickly scraped a layer of earth over it before directing her attention back to the tom. "Thanks, but I'm sure any other cat could have done just as well," Ivywhisker mewed shyly. Than, turning swiftly on velvet brown paws, she continued at a trot farther into the forest. Nose twitching, she kept on alert for any other signs of life, hoping to catch a fair amount of food for her clan...and maybe even impress the black warrior close behind her.
