¬ how do i create a cat?
first off, read the rules (click). once you have read the rules, look through the cat lists to make sure the name you want for your cat has not already been taken. kits and apprentices do not count because they will have a different warrior name in the future. next, come to this board (click), and click on the thread titled "Bio Format". You should end up here (click). once there, read through the Bio Walkthrough, and the age counts, before scrolling up to CODE: and copy the information below it. (CTRL + C) go back to the Creation board you were just in before you got to that thread. (hit the back button). then, look at the bar above the subject line, and look for a link titled 'New thread". Click that and you will end up here (click). paste the information you copied. (CTRL + V). Fill out the information to the best of your knowledge, about your cat. Then click "Post message", and wait for an admin to look over your cat.
¬ someone was being mean to me!
yeah, it happens. depending on how much you feel insulted/offended, consult static or fable. things happen, and there's not much that can be done other than teach that person to respect others.
¬ what if i can't meet the word count?
simple. don't post. 100 words is so easy you could do if with your eyes closed if you put your heart on it. once you learn how to role-play properly, you'll want the word count to be higher. so stop complaining, learn how to type, and you'll meet the word count.
¬ i can't find my bio! it's not in the cat creation board!
if it's not in the cat creation board, it was either moved to the sub-board, pending, which you'll see in the cat creation board, or has been accepted. look for the board labeled 'accepted' on the home page of the site. it shouldn't be hard to find seeing as it's located directly below the cat creation board.
¬ how do i center my posts?
you can easily center your posts by typing in[center]at the top of the post. and[/center]after the post.
¬ what is ubbc?
ubbc, also known as bb code, is a way to format your text when posting on this site. it is similar to html, (used to format an entire webpage), but it used [ and ] tags instead of < and > tags.
¬ why do some people have different colored names?
those names are to separate administrator accounts from the rest of the site. when you see someone on with a different colored name, that means they are an admin. june, hannah, flamey, and i are all admins so we have blue names.
¬ why can't we get an xat box?
xat boxes are ugly, large, unsophisticated, and make an annoying dinging sound every time someone posts. that is why we use a simple c-box, as it fits in with the site and looks nice with any skin. please do not ask us to get an xat box because the answer will be no.
¬ i can't activate my account?
chances are, you typed in the wrong email, and if that happens talk to an admin and they'll change it for you. otherwise, you either didn't click on your profile link and didn't click "activate now" on the profile. do that and if you got the email right it should be sent immediately. make sure to check your spam or junk folders if you cannot find it. if this does not work talk to an admin and we'll figure something out for you.
¬ someone is spamming the c-box! what do we do?
you ignore the retard in the c-box and if another member is on, talk to them without paying any attention to the spammer. after awhile they'll get bored and leave, or an admin will get on and ban them. don't freak out over the spammer, and don't scream at it because that is what they want.
¬ can i make a cat called toasteroven?
i will not get into this. no! same with all other retarded, unrealistic and sloppy names.
¬ can i have a high position? [Leader, deputy, med. cat or med. cat apprentice]
if the position is open [it's not taken and not reserved] then, first of all, we won't give them to really new members. you need to prove that you can role-play and that you'll be active first. give it at least a week and then try asking us. if we really like you, maybe you'll get lucky.
