You've heard of Hell, haven't you? Oh, you haven't? Well, then, let me tell you about Hell... Hell's not that fiery pit where all the sinners burn. Demons don't rip your limbs from your body; you're not chained in a cell, facing the horrors around you repeatedly. No, m'dear, Hell is a much different place.
But don't think for a second Hell isn't bad. No demons, yes; no burning pits of fire or cells and chains, but Hell is still a horrible, awful place. A place where you're forced to live in misery, among other canines who're just as miserable, all hiding behind a smiling face. Then there's the "happy" canines... Are they really happy? Or is it just a lie they hide behind, waiting to kill us all? And what of the dogs with no alliance? Surely they're not as passive as they will us to believe... And then the evil dogs...? Who can really say what goes through their minds? But we don't call it Hell without reasons, do we?
And now, welcome to Hell on earth. The setting is Iraq, modern day... Feral dogs live in packs, scrounging for food, killing eachother just to survive if no other option is available. Humans run at the very sight of a dog, no matter how small or how kind. These dogs know no human compassion, no care for another. All they know is survival, and what they must do to get it.
Some dogs have retained their morals, their sanity even. Others have abandoned all hope, living life recklessly, caring not what happens to them.
After all, we all end up in Hell, don't we?
